Teams Administrator

Remote / 1099 or W2

This consultant role of a Microsoft M365 Teams Administrator will primarily focus on implementing, managing, and optimizing the Microsoft Teams environment, alongside other Microsoft collaboration tools within the M365 suite. This role is key to enhancing our core clients communication and collaboration, ensuring the efficient and secure use of Microsoft Teams and related technologies. Must be a US Citizen, we work on government contracts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 Teams
  • Strong knowledge on Microsoft Teams architecture, components, and Skype for Business Online components
  • Provide MS Teams administration – i.e., planning/deploying, latency, SIP and CTI Messaging, chat, channels, audio/ video, calling, etc.
  • Additional knowledge on MS Teams video and voice interoperability is desired
  • Professional experience working directly with clients and customers to provide technical support and guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Our team designs, develops, and maintain SharePoint/Teams solutions tailored to our clients needs across various industries. We architect solutions based on the client's licensing model and also setup and troubleshoot Office 365, including Teams, Sharepoint. We also specialize in migrations, either fileserver to SharePoint Online or tenant to tenant migrations.


Responsibilities
  • Act as incident and service request tier 2-3 escalation point for MS Teams related issues (includes telephony experience).

  • Troubleshoot and/or maintain MS Call Queue, AutoAttendant, Hardphones, PSTN, phone inventory and assignments, policies, configurations, conference bridges. etc.

  • Provide MS Teams administration – i.e., planning/deploying, latency, SIP and CTI Messaging, chat, channels, audio/ video, calling, etc.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Teams issues. (1-3 day SLA)

  • Participate in monthly technical meetings with management, development team, and operations to provide updates on assignments and help coordinate interdependent project tasks.

  • Provide input to documentation - communication plans, customer notices, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

  • Respond to M365 FAQ requests and issues and support ticketing system.

What is our Hiring Process like?
