SharePoint Administrator

This consultant role of a Microsoft M365 SharePoint Administrator will primarily focus on managing SharePoint sites, user access, and permissions for our clients. You will be responsible for understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of SharePoint solutions. You will work with our clients to design, build and refine SharePoint solutions. You will be responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment, resolve issues and respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancement. Must be a US Citizen, we work on government contracts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with SharePoint Online.
  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft products.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Professional experience working directly with clients and customers to provide technical support and guidance
  • Ability to think creatively to find solutions to business problems and issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Must have a high attention to detail and take pride in deploying quality SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience managing and administration of Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and providing customer support for service requests related to Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field with 3-5 years relatable experience or Certifications.
  • Ability to pass background check.

Our team designs, develops, and maintain SharePoint/Teams solutions tailored to our clients needs across various industries. We architect solutions based on the client's licensing model and also setup and troubleshoot Office 365, including Teams, Sharepoint. We also specialize in migrations, either fileserver to SharePoint Online or tenant to tenant migrations.


Responsibilities
  • Provide SharePoint administration and technical support for Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online environment.

  • Manage and maintain site content and structure settings, site hierarchy, and site collection navigation.

  • Consolidate sites and migrate content as needed.

  • Design, configure, manage, and maintain comprehensive site collection, site, and list level usage reports and usability analysis.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint issues. (1-3 day SLA)

  • Participate in monthly technical meetings with management, development team, and operations to provide updates on assignments and help coordinate interdependent project tasks.

  • Configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks.

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise taxonomy, terms, and keywords for the term store.

  • Experience in workflow and forms creation using Visual Studio, Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Work on help desk tickets and service requests for Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
